Super Cute Box - August 2016

This months Super Cute Box was themed around, actually I have no idea.  It has to be one of the strangest boxes that has been put together.

The contents of this months box are: -
A unicorn milk badge
Pineapple wrapping paper
Sanrio sticker bag
Fine liner pen
A single stamped (no ink)
Keychain with tiny pieces of fruit inside

This box has not gripped me like previous boxes, it's always nice to have a pen but the other items area bit pointless, like I said earlier there didn't appear to be a theme to this box and I have decided to end my subscription.

Super Cute Box - July 2016

I have recently had a subscription for Super Cute Box, within each box you get a selection of items, each both has a them so you have a varied box each month.

July's them was be yourself and it was filled with kitsch its plus some scrap booking items.

The scrap booking items, photo stickers will come in handy for my next scrap book project.  I loved the butterfly they are magnetic and stick perfectly to my cooker hood and fridge freezer.  The clump hair clip and cloud hook at a bit lost on me but the lollipop photo hanger is very cute and a fab idea.

I am pleased with the contents of the box and looking forward to me next box.

Pink Parcel - June 2016

Pink Parcel is a period subscription box that is delivered straight to your letterbox once a month.

I was very excited to receive June's box.  Inside you will find three smaller boxes and a pouch plus a booklet detailing everything in the box.  The three boxes are for night containing night sanitary pads, for later containing a number of tampons and for you which has all your goodies for the month.  Inside the punch you will find a handful of tampons and a few panty liners, the idea is you pop the pouch in you handbag so you're ready to go.

Inside the booklet it list what is inside this month's box in detail.

This was June's box, as you can see there are lots of items, I lived this month's box all the treats could have been hand picked for me.

My preference for sanitary products us Kotex Click, something you cannot buy over here but I find to be a superior product next to Tampax.

The drink and edible treattjis month was emergency tea and Joe&Sephs gourmet popcorn in seasalt and caramel these were delicious such a shame it was only a tiny bag.

The makeup item this month is Model Co Power Lash, I don't rate this, the brush was cheap and clogged up with mascara, it didn't glide onto my lashes.

Bubble t macaroon lipbalm was a lovely surprise, I've tried a couple of bubble t products and this was just as good, I love the macaroon shape and the lemongrass and green tea scent was lovely.

Imperial Candles regularly pops up on my Facebook feed, I find them a little pricey and having never tried the candles I have been reluctant to pact with my hard earned cash, until now, wow lush scent came from this tart whilst it was melting, the scent lasted as long as Yankee so worth every penny in my eyes.

I gave never heard of either of these products but the Rosie Glow face mask was lovely, left my face feeling pampered, I've kept the Amie products for a weekend away.

I am a nail art fan, I do my own gem nails and love using stickers to jazz them up do looking forward to trying these out.

And finally my beloved Bandzee these are great, soft on the hair and a funky colour, I've had a few different brands but Bandzeeare the best.

Super Cute Box - June 2016

I recently signed up  to Super Cute  Box, to see what this fairly new subscription box had to offer.

June 2016 box arrived with the contents below

 I was very excited when I found my box inside my post box, living in a apartment has its disadvantages one of them being subscription boxes do not always fit and I have to wander to the sorting office to collect.

Anyway inside June's box was an array of items all listed on a card.

I was a little disappointed by the fox bag, very childish and the string was child length.

 Stickers were cute and will be used to dress up a note book, also a voucher for Fuzzballs website.

The unicorn earrings are pretty but a little on the large size, they are not silver so won't be wearing often.  A little charm bracelet with charm was included this month, subsequent months I'll just get the charm.

Finally there was a lollipop facecloth, kitty pen and a kitty phone topper, I love the two kitty items, the phone topper is my favourite item in the box.

All Boxed Up - Prancer

Over the last couple of month All Boxed Up have had quite a few good beauty boxes.

The one which was fantastic value for money was sold over the festive season, the Prancer box. £23.99 + P&p

It contained 3 well know beauty brands, Elemis, Cowshed And Fake Bake

Fake bake anti aging face cream was possibly not the best product for a winter box, I have used it to try it out.  It came in a 60ml tube but no box.  It's a lush cream not heavily scented and does give that golden glow, rrp £22.

Next up Cowshed Wild Cow body lotion.  This is a 300ml bottle with any easy to use flip cap.  The product is highly scented and not very suitable to those who would find this over powering.  The lotion is very think and to me is more of a cream consistency, always think of lotions as being thin and runny.  It sinks into the skin with some rubbing and left my skin feeling very moisturised, rrp £20.

Finally the best item in the box Elemis Cellular Recovery Skin Bluss capsules, there are 60 capules in total in the tub (30 rose capsules and 30 lavender capsules).  The contents of the capsules are to be applied gently to the skin morning and night for 30 days.  You apply the heavenly scented rose capsule in the morning and the relaxing lavender capsule at night. I have to say after using for only a week I saw a big improvement in my skin, pores we visably smaller and my skin looked smoother rrp £65

Grand total for the 3 items £107

I would happily buy another box from AllBoxedUp especially if it contained the Elemis bliss capsules.

Kiehl's Vanilla & Cedarwood

Kiehl's Aromatic Blends Vanilla & Cedarwood.

I love this, the fragrance is lush very unique and reminds me of the store Holister but not as over powering.  Will be looking into buying something in the fragrance from Kiehl's possibly a candle.

Gucci Premiere

Gucci Premiere - Not a fan of Gucci brand or the fragrances this one does very little for me, possibly because it's a card sample rather than a bottle but I do not like - Sorry Gucci.

Dirty Works Body Butter

Dirty Works Body Butter is a supreme cream with Shea butter and Almond oil

This is a wannabee Soap & Glory, everything about it reminds me of Soap & Glory, smell, feel even the font on the container.  I do like this and would be tempted to buy smells lovely and applies evenly soaking into skin easily, I also like the handy size sample perfect for a weekend away.

Shu Uemura Tsuya skin

Tsuya skin by Shu Uemura arrive today, I've heard of this brand before but never been wowed by their product, same can be said for this one.

It's intended to give you youthful radiance and you only use a few drops.  It smells nice but unfortunately left my skin looking and feeling oily not petal like.

She said beauty - September box arrival

I just wanted to publish my box so everyone could see what was inside I'll add my review later in the month once I've had chance to full try everything.

I've eaten the Popchips and didn't think they belonged in a beauty box - thank god they were a freebie!!

Ojon Damage Reverse

Today I have received Ojon's Damage reverse.  Whilst i do have partially died hair it is in no way dry or damaged, I have naturally oily hair and this seems to keep my hair in decent condition.

I have tried this and would not recommend for people who suffer with greasy hair, it smells nice and whilst after initial wash hair feels and looks good, once natural oils and mixed in my hair looked a mess and had to be re-washed.

It's £32.50 for 100ml's from Boots and would be useful to those who have dry damaged hair either from dying, drying or sun exposure.

Neal's Yard Remedies - Beauty Sleep Concerntrate

I sent off for a Neal's Yard Remedies brochure to see what the prices were like and if there was anything suitable for Christmas pressies, in the brochure was two free samples of NYR's Beauty Sleep Concentrate.

It is for all skins types and claims "recharges and works with your skin's natural night time rhythm"  now i didn't know my skin had a night time rhythm...

Anyway it smells nice and you can tell this is a high end product the way it melts into your skin yes my skin did feel nice afterwards but £31.50 for 30mls I'm not going to be using again.

Biotherm Blue Therapy Serum

Today I received Biotherm Blue Therapy Serum.  I was slightly intrigued by this, it states visible results, not something I ever believe in.

Whilst it did leave my skin moisturised I would need to use more of it to see if it lives up to it's statement of smoother skin, even complexion and firmer feeling. I won't be rushing out to buy - current selling price is £52 for 50ml not a bargain.

La Petite Robe Noire - Guerlain Paris

Today I  have received a sample of La Petite Robe Noire by Guerlain Paris.

I love the packaging, very Parisian.  The full size bottle looks lovely and I could see that sitting on a dressing table, beautiful.  On to the fragrance.... It's very strong, like shampoo.  I can make out Black Cherry and a smokey scent, it's very unusual and not something I have smelt before.  I'm not sure who this would appeal to but it's not for me smells very soapy.

Boss Nuit Pour Femme

Today I have received Boss Nuit Pour Femme.  It is a 2ml vial not the spray kind but with a topper and stick.  It is endorsed by Gwyneth Paltrow.

First impressions were "oh no not another celebratory endorsed fragrance"  boy was I mistaken.  This perfume is lovely!  It's not too heavy and is floral with a hint of musk, I couldn't stop smelling when I first applied this to my wrist, it last a long time and the under tones and base notes change as it wears.

I think I will look into buying some of this - shame there was no money off coupon.

Dueto Parfums

So today I  received some nice beauty freebies from Dueto Parfum.  
4 x1.2ml perfumes in a black organza bag.

The perfumes: -

• Lady Cool
• Golden Boy
• City Oud
• City Love

City Love  - Smells musky and like talc, it's more evening wear than day to day office wear its a very strong fragrance when you first apply but it does wear off and the base notes come through.

Golden Boy - Smells very citrus with an undertone of leather??? a bit like bathroom cleaner not sure where you would wear this fragrance it's pungent who wants to smell of shoe leather...

Lady Cool - This one is floral smells like soap, it's nice but has given me a little bit of a headache.

City Oud - I've found it hard to put this one into words, it has a musky tone but not like City Love more a mix of City Love and Golden Boy for some reason it reminds me of Florida Mall one of the shops must use a similar fragrance in a shop.

She Said Beauty August Box

I was very disappointed by this box and feel let down.

Inside I had: 

• White Glo Toothpaste
• Balance Me Lip Salve
• Redken Color Extend
• Papier Poudre
• Absolutley Flawless Nail Foils
• 4711 Eau De Cologne 

I'll start with the toothpaste, i have used this and I have not seen any difference in the colour of my teeth, it cleans well and doesn't have a nasty taste but it hasn't whitened my teeth

I have really enjoyed usign the Lip Salve, I like the fragrance but do find the product to be a little runny.

No the Redken colour extent is pretty useless to me as I don't colour my hair.  I'll probably give this to a friend to try it out.

Papier Poudre it does the job and clears up oily patches, not something I have bought or used before.

Absolutley Flawless nail foils, I have never used these before and they were pretty easy to apply but didn't stay on long.

And Finally the Cologne, this smells like fly repellent, I might take it on holiday and see if it works but cannot see myself wearing it on a night out or to work.

I was pretty disappointed by this months box and I am hoping Septembers is much better or I might have to start looking at other beauty boxes.
